Mirror Debian, Debian ports and the Debian archive

Hi everyone,

I would very very much like to mirror these mirrors and the debian-cd folders for the Debian project. I currently host the hppa stable version an unofficial release. This has given me some insight to the workings of repos and making install media.

I see there is a script that will install the main Debian in release arches old stable stable testing Sid and experimental
I also see the registration form for the ‘main’ repo of Debian.

I don’t see anything for the other two. I know ports have only 2 mirrors and I would love to add a 3rd. Having some older machines I’d like to host the archive also. I have bandwidth and space to host every repo.

What made me decide to want to do this.
I live in New Zealand and often have errors from the local repos when updates are done or installing software. Bootstrapping to build and building environment often fails due to missing packages and the ports repos are so slow from my location.

The server will be in a colo centre. The hardware is an Enterprise HP G7 with 8 gigs of ram and 16 Tb of storage on a 1 gig up and down internet connection and dedicated to hosting Debian.

I’ve started the main repo download and would like to know about the other two.
