Re: ftp.ir.debian.org is not up to date or may be abusing debian packages!

Hi all,
As you can see in the first part, the downloaded size is ‘4542’ that is not the actual size mentioned in here:

HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Server: nginx/1.2.1
Date: Fri, 03 Jul 2015 05:38:35 GMT
Content-Type: application/octet-stream
Content-Length: 7606578
Last-Modified: Fri, 27 Feb 2015 18:28:20 GMT
Connection: keep-alive
Accept-Ranges: bytes

and the md5 hash of package is 0220e2e4a0ae74809350fd735af7571e in our mirror.

I think that there is no problem. Dear Muhammed, I advise you to attach the files in that situations for more [security] studies, we can not judge about that file now.
And please note that the ftp.ir.debian.org is up to date due the mirror monitoring page: http://mirror.debian.org/status.html

thanks

Hi,

I tried to download from ftp.ir.debian.org and I deal with this error:

Get:1 http://ftp.ir.debian.org/debian/ stable/main libllvm3.5 amd64 1:3.5-10 [7,607 kB]
Fetched 4,542 kB in 4s (944 kB/s)
E: Failed to fetch http://ftp.ir.debian.org/debian/pool/main/l/llvm-toolchain-3.5/libllvm3.5_3.5-10_amd64.deb  Size mismatch

I changed the /etc/apt/sources.list to "mirror.xamin.ir" and execute apt-get update, then I tried again to download my packages and I don't have an any issue.

Get:1 http://mirror.xamin.ir/debian/ stable/main libllvm3.5 amd64 1:3.5-10 [7,607 kB]
