HTTP and FTP works. rsync to all above hosts works (yes, they provide rsync, and it works over ipv6), except single host. debian.mirror.cambrium.nl looks also to rsync (this at least says mirror/list-full page), but for me connection was refused. So list should be update to note that there is no rsync, or at least it is limited somehow. # nmap -6 -p rsync mirror.cambrium.nl Starting Nmap 5.00 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2011-02-08 15:34 CET Interesting ports on mirror.cambrium.nl (2a02:58:3:2:80::1): PORT STATE SERVICE 873/tcp closed rsync Nmap done: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 2.00 seconds # Also, PS. If you have problem with debian.mirror.cambrium.nl, use mirror.cambrium.nl (it is same machine). I had some problem in maradns resolver with CNAME. Similar use ftp1.uninett.no instead of ftp.uninett.no/ftp.no.debian.org, without this rsync and most other tools will tell something like rsync: getaddrinfo: ftp.uninett.no 873: Name or service not known which is wrong. I blame maradns (this is known issue with it). PS2. I also can swear that ftp.de.debian.org (or ftp2) on mirror/list-full page, was for a moment listed as being accessible over IPv6, but i tested and it was not resolving. But few days later i checked list again, and IPv6 tag dissapeared. Shame that netselect and netselect-apt do not work correctly with ipv6 :( This would improve testing of this list :) I hope you guys have some scripts to mass test this list for being complete and accurate. This will also make reports like mine unaccassary :) -- Witold Baryluk JID: witold.baryluk // jabster.pl
