I've started noticing that Etch rsync (2.6.9-2etch1) is doing reverse DNS lookups on connections, this is different behavior than Sarge rsync (2.6.4-6). I've made sure that there are no "hosts (allow|deny)" statements, nor %h logging statements, in my rsyncd.conf file. Also --address= is set to an IP address. Am I missing something else that would cause this strange (and slowing) behavior? -Jim P.
