Hi mirror admins, Presently ftp.br.debian.org points to a specific IP. We'd like that it be changed to a CNAME to debian.c3sl.ufpr.br. This will give us flexibility in changing addresses without bothering you. We need this to improve the space and disk bandwidth available to the debian mirror. We intend to also become a CD mirror, hopefully before etch is released, which we cannot do without this dns change.
