RE: Bug#858095: atlc FTBFS on mips: Build killed with signal TERM after 360 minutes of inactivity
Hi,
I have try to build this package locally on a few different boards.
On Netlogic and Loongson which both have FPU, package builds successfully.
On Cavium Edge Router (the same board as mips-aql-02, mips-aql-04, mips-aql-05), tests execution is really slow.
I will run benchmark.test manually to confirm that this test will pass without timeout restriction.
One solution could be to blacklist atlc on boards without FPU,
the other solution could be to disable benchmark.test on MIPS.
Regards,
Dejan

After a few attempts atlc built again. This is probably caused by the
MIPS builders which do not have an FPU. To do floating point they have
to trap into the kernel which is very slow.
