Hello Geert,

How did you fix the second issue above "kernel misses USB Host
controllor"?

Why did it take a full day to build?

I have the following cpu model:

grep ^cpu /proc/cpuinfo
cpu model : ICT Loongson-2 V0.3 FPU V0.1

I built 2.6.36~rc5-1~experimental last night and it took between 11 and
12 hours to build.

I followed the instructions at http://kernel-handbook.alioth.debian.org/

1. download source package linux-2.6_2.6.36~rc5-1~experimental.1
2. dpkg-source -x linux-2.6_2.6.36~rc5-1~experimental.1.dsc
3. cd linux-2.6-2.6.36~rc5/
4. edit debian/changelog and debian/config/defines
5. make -f debian/rules source-all
6. fakeroot make -f debian/rules.gen setup_mipsel_none_loongson-2f
7. fakeroot make -f debian/rules.gen binary-arch_mipsel_none_loongson-2f binary-indep DEBIAN_KERNEL_JOBS=1

Today, linux-2.6_2.6.36~rc6-1~experimental.1 was uploaded to
experimental. I'll give it a try when it shows up on my local mirror
within a couple of days.

Cheers,

Anibal
