Do we need the patch as well for 2e-machines (i.e. Mylong NC)?

The binutils from
http://dev.lemote.com/debian-loongson/pool/main/b/binutils/
seem to be not updated to the current patch yet?


Also is there a bugzilla entry connected with the patches? Or is it
already commited upstream?
