I kind of killed my Debian install on my Qube2 ;-) So I had a go at
installing Lenny direct and it does't go ... so is it best to install
Etch (which works) and then upgrade to Lenny ?

Good timing because I was just going to ask for beta testers of the
lenny installer. Can you try the image from
http://newpeople.debian.org/~aurel32/d-i/images/mipsel/
If it doesn't work, please let us know so we can fix it.
Unfortunaetly I don't have access to my Cobalt hardware at the moment,
so I cannot test it myself.

Hello,

i just had a look to the new installer and had a little problem ;

when i choose nfs after net booting my qube2, it hangs with a little message : UNIT BOOT FAILED !

So, i watched my logs :

OK for dhcp and nfs :

Aug 30 13:44:12 vivace dhcpd: BOOTREPLY for 10.0.0.55 to cobalt (00:10:e0:00:f1:04) via eth0 Aug 30 13:44:12 vivace mountd[8040]: NFS mount of /nfsroot attempted from 10.0.0.55
Aug 30 13:44:17 vivace mountd[8040]: /nfsroot has been mounted by 10.0.0.55

And there is the serial output of the qube :

Decompressing done Executing bootloader kernel... Decompressing - done. [ "CoLo" v1.22 ] stage2: 88fa0000-89000000 cpu: clock 250.000MHz pci: unit type <Qube2>

Did i forget anything ?
