Fwd: Bug#487548: mscore: FTBFS on mips

Hi,

As I'm not subscribed to this list, please CC me in all replies; thanks.

Now, down to business. I'm the maintainer of mscore, and recently
received the below attached bug report. As the reporter recommends, it
seems sensible to test reproducability of this bug. I do not have any
MIPS hardware available on which to attempt to rebuild the package, so
I'm appealing for help. Could someone possibly grab the sources and
try to build the package manually and reproduce the bug?

Thanks,

Toby Smithe

Package: mscore
Version: 0.9.2+dfsg-2
Severity: important

Hi,

your package fails to build from source on MIPS, see the log:
<http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.cgi?pkg=mscore;ver=0.9.2%2Bdfsg-2;arch=mips;stamp=1213800324>

I don't know why that happened, the diff between the previous version (which
built successfully) and the current version should not affect the build.
Maybe it's a temporary problem on the buildd, I suggest that someone with
access to MIPS hardware tries to build the package and see whether the bug
can be reproduced or not. You could try to ask for help on the MIPS mailing
list: <debian-mips@lists.debian.org>.

Regards,
Tobias
