I'd guess that there are a lot of packages affected by this, but which don't run extensive validation tests as part of the build process.
I'm currently validating the stability of 2.6.24 on the same hardware as our buildds have, I hope the problem can be solved over this weekend.
Meaning that the buildd's will be upgraded then & I should just wait for them to try to rebuild coreutils after that? (Just want to make sure I understand the proper path forward.)
