RE: kernel newer than 2.6.17 on qube

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem..
But I use a cobalt raq1.

Also I have two things which I want to mention before:
1. Before that I had the Debian Sarge installed -> no problems
2. Than I have made a dist-upgrade to etch and have installed the
kernel "vmlinux-2.6.18-3-r5k-cobalt".
After the reboot the cobalt hangs here:

Than I have tried to do a new install with the new bootimage (debian etch)
from the site "http://cyrius.com/debian/cobalt/install.html";.

My NFS and DHCP server is a Ubuntu-Server 6.06 with the paket
"nfs-user-server". First I'have used the paket "dhcp3-server" but after the
unsuccess tries I had removed this paket and installed the paket "dhcp" but it
doesn't matter. I also can choose what installation method I want but it
doesn't matter to choose SSH or console. The output is the same.
This ist my output from the console:

Thats it. After this nothing happens and I can't ping the cobalt anymore..
As you can see the script have aborted but I have manually go on by typing
"-script"[Enter]. The output of my NFS-Server is the same as yours: First is a
BOOTP Request and my cobalt get the correct IP, then the nfs-mounts several
times and then comes a dhcp-request (the cobalt get the same IP as with BOOTP)
then several nfs-mounts and the script aborts because of "no response".

Any help is welcome..

Kind regards
Thomas
