Re: Test kernels for mipsel: bcm947xx and r5k-cobalt

Hi all,

I have build some tests kernels for mipsel.

The first one [1] concerns bcm947xx CPU, which is found for example in the WGT634U routers. It is based on tbm's kernel [2], but using a 2.6.16-7 kernel. I have enabled a few USB and network modules, and module autoloading. I have started to remove some of the Broadcom OS layer, the patches are now 40kB smaller. I have continued to clean the patches, but I haven't tried to build a kernel with them yet.

I have updated the bcm947xx kernel [1]. The main difference are:
- Updated to 2.6.16-11
- Reduced the patches by 17 kB more, ie they are now 57 kB smaller than the original. Still a lot to go though...
