Hi MIPS porters! Thanks to Thiemo Seufer, postgresql has proper MIPS support now. I sent the 7.4 patch to upstream who fixed it up for 8.0 and adopted it. However, it would be nice to actually test the package a bit with the new patch. Actually the test suite is called during package build, but for some reason I can't immediately see it immediately crashes with some obscure SIGBUS errors. Unfortunately the build-deps are not installed on the porting machines's dchroots, so I can't test this myself. Could any of you run the test suite of postgresql-8.0 and report any problems? $ apt-get source postgresql-8.0 $ cd postgresql-8.0-* $ debuild -us -uc -b $ cd build-tree/postgresql* $ make check Thanks in advance and have a nice day!
