Problem with aGalax touch screen on a debian-mips

Hello, 

We have a debian-mips-linux system working on a DBAU1100 evaluation board.
It has an AMD AU1100 Alchemy processor.
An aGalax touch screen is uses as user interface. The VGA output is works.  

But the 'touch screen' only works one time. 
That is: 
The USB interface is recognized. 
Touch the screen and de screen response.
Touch the screen and noting happens!!!
Disconnect de USB and reconnected it. 
The touch screen will work one time again.

On a debian-PC the touch screen works find!!!!

Any ideas what this problem can be?
