I hope to have a debian kernel for the ip30 packaged soon[TM], that is
in the next days. Stanislaw moved his page to www.linux-mips.org/~skylark/
but without a ready-to-use kernel image.

If the directions in the mail mentioned above are good enough for you,
then the only SGI-related problem should be the firmware settings,
which are google-able on several pages in the net.
