Hi, while installing with the rc2 install image i found this bug. Basically it makes it impossible to create an usable sgi disklabel. The number of cylinders for this disk is set to 4340. There is nothing wrong with that, but this is larger than 1024, and could in certain setups cause problems with: 1) software that runs at boot time (e.g., old versions of LILO) 2) booting and partitioning software from other OSs (e.g., DOS FDISK, OS/2 FDISK) Command (m for help): p Disk /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target1/lun0/disc: 4551 MB, 4551129088 bytes 64 heads, 32 sectors/track, 4340 cylinders Units = cylinders of 2048 * 512 = 1048576 bytes Device Boot Start End Blocks Id Systm /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target1/lun0/part1 1 4340 4444144 5 Exted /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target1/lun0/part5 1 257 263136 82 Linup /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target1/lun0/part6 258 386 132080 83 Linux /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target1/lun0/part7 387 1887 1537008 83 Linux /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target1/lun0/part8 1888 1988 103408 83 Linux /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target1/lun0/part9 1989 2589 615408 83 Linux /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target1/lun0/part10 2590 4340 1793008 83 Linux Command (m for help): x g Expert command (m for help): Building a new SGI disklabel.
