O2 succes, almost
Yesterday I finally managed to install Sarge on my O2 r5k, using the new
image from http://www.cyrius.com/debian/o2/ with the 2.6.10 kernel dated
Wed Feb 2. All seems to work well, I even got X working. But there lies
the only little problem so far. It runs in 800x600 using fbdev, only the
color is off. It is greenish/bluish and not very pleasant to look at.
When I run it in 1024x768 the desktop won't fit on my 1024x768 LCD
screen. Is there a known remedy for these issues? As I understand from
reading this list, support for X on O2 is very experimental. I must
confess that I am totally new to the mips-platform. Otherwise I am happy
with this nice machine finally running Debian. Thanks for any
suggestions.
XF86Config follows.
