booting of indigo2
Hello guys,
I have indigo2 with configuration like this:
ip22 mips R4000 processor
RAM 48MB RAM
hdd 1GB
no cdrom, no floppy
I had some problems to get tftp image from tftp server. Now it looks i
am getting tftp image, but something happens the image cannot fully
boot. I have 3 tftpboot images. One is from gentoo (I know i need more
RAM, bigger hdd), 1 from bootable debian CD made by "Flo" named as
deb-mips2.img and 1 from debian mips woody distribution
http://ftp.debian.cz/pub/debian/dists/woody/main/disks-mips/current/r4k-ip22/tftpboot.img
named as deb-mips1.img. I tried to boot from server and could see this:
1)boot deb-mips1.img from command monitor of indigo2:
>>bootp():deb-mips1.img
setting $netaddr to 192.168.1.4 (from server)
Obtaining deb-mips1.img from server
2027520+1762928+95120 entry: 0x8800246c
system freezed
2)boot deb-mips2.img from command monitor of indigo2:
>>bootp():deb-mips2.img
setting $netaddr to 192.168.1.4 (from server)
Obtaining deb-mips1.img from server
7456+4296568+48 entry: 0x8800246c
screen is cleared and next output came like this:
tip22: IP22 Linux tftpboot loader 0.3.5
Loading program segment 2 at 0x88002000, size = 0x1a5ed0
Loading program segment 3 at 0x881a8000, size = 0x47000

Starting kernel; entry point = 0x881aa398
Copied initrd from 0x88a7aFb0 to 0x88208000 (0x1af0c2 bytes)
system freezed
3)Gentoo image I tried and output was again some error
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for help
Petr
