Yep, Thanks to everyone that replied...
At this stage, I've done some research, and have hacked up a spare 13W3
lead to put DB15 connectors on each end. At the moment, I'm focusing on
getting the old SGI GDM-20D11 we have here working on a fixed frequency
card we have here (Mirage MMC Ultra 3D AGP or something like that).
Would I be correct in saying that I should only need to connect the Red,
Green & Blue coax cables to get this working? Or is there a pin I need
to give a poke (as is the case with the Sun GDM-20D10 apparently)
As far as Sync-on-green is concirned, I know for a fact that this fixed
frequency card does do it -- as the monitor I've got hooked up to it
right now (Samsung SyncMaster 17GLsi) is running Sync-On-Green, if I set
it to Separate sync, the screen turns a horrible green colour from the
sync signal.
I'm not sure about my video card though, an ATI Radeon 7000 (AGP, 64MB),
although the Sun monitors can accept a composite sync, and I have
howto's on making a Separate->Composite adaptor, so I can hang it off my
video card as a second monitor.
