perhaps this should go in FAQ somewhere...
Octane is completely unsupported (there were some attempts however)
O2 is unsupported for end user, unless you want to help with kernel.
O2 support was remover from Linux 2.4 series and will continue in 2.6
only. Currently it doesn't even boot. If you still want to play with it
