The kernel-patch-2.4-cobalt is the kernel patch for the i386-based
new cobalt models, not for the MIPS-based 2700 annd 2800. For the
2700 / 2800 there is no official kernel patch, although if you are
interested, I can send you a patch against the Linux/MIPS CVS which
should (at least partially) work.
