This machine has an alpha not a mips cpu, so the folks on debian-alpha will probably now much more about this. Anyways, the machines of the 3000 series (Sandpiper, etc.) aren't supported AFAIK. Adding support for them shouldn't be too hard since these machines are very similar to some of the mips based DECstations and these are running linux very well. -- Guido
