foolihs upgade requires fix

foolishly upgraded my indy running testing while there was a problems with the 
tree. now apt doesnt work anymore complaining:

criminy:~# apt-get update
apt-get: relocation error: /usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: symbol sys_nerr, 
version GLIBC_2.3 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference

certain other commands do the same (man):

criminy:~# man man
Reformatting man(1), please wait...

how can i solve this or roll back to a more stable system
