Hi, it seems that sarge on mips/mipsel is currently broken. The new base-config-1.49 depends on aptitude which always failed to build on mips/mipsel: reset:~# apt-cache show base-config Package: base-config Priority: optional Section: base Installed-Size: 520 Maintainer: Joey Hess <joeyh@debian.org> Architecture: all Version: 1.49 Replaces: debconf (<< 0.2.79), debconf-tiny (<< 0.2.79) Depends: debconf (>= 1.2.19), apt, adduser, console-data (>= 1999.08.29-13), passwd (>= 20000902-6), tasksel (>= 1.0-7), bsdutils (>= 1:2.11l), aptitude Conflicts: debconf (<< 0.2.79), debconf-tiny (<< 0.2.79) Filename: pool/main/b/base-config/base-config_1.49_all.deb Size: 111782 MD5sum: 33c677842d90b8bd3349f9d3cde3d13a Description: Debian base configuration package This package handles setting up the Debian base system. It contains the questions you see when you install Debian for the first time and boot up your new Debian system. . It can be removed with no ill effects -- now that your Debian system is installed, this package's only useful function is to allow you to reconfigure some of the things it asked you about earlier.
