You've surely noticed current e2fsprogs does not build on mips. It
fails during the build if the mips-specific libs requested by Bug#145432.
Trying to reproduce on i386 I got a similar failure by chance, but
that was only caused by wrong values being detected by configure when
trying to use mips-specific flags for its tests. Checking the mips
logs further I noticed the same wrong values that cause the same
compiling error:
checking size of short... 0
checking size of int... 0
checking size of long... 0
checking size of long long... 0
...although on mips some other tests are successful where they were
not on i386 (eg. "inline" is properly detected on mips).
Could someone send me the debian/BUILD-MIPS/config.log file or look at
it and tell me what's wrong ?
