root.tar.gz from boot-floppies builds

hi,

after flo fixed the loop-bug, I was abble to build the root.tar.gz from
the bootfloppies. I hope thta I have the time to send adam the patches.
Now ist open how we can build the kernel with the initrd(root.tar.gz),
because the initrd-patch from harald koerfgen, dont works on the
2.4-kernels.
