(on i386):

$ apt-cache showpkg libgl1
...
Reverse Provides:
xlibmesa3 4.0.2-7
mesag3-glide2 3.4.1-3
mesag3+ggi 3.4.1-3
mesag3 3.4.1-3
libutahglx1 0.0-cvs-20010214-1
$


That means you need one of these five packages that do all provide libgl1.
