jaconv (Japanese Converter) is interconverter for Hiragana, Katakana, Hankaku
(half-width character) and Zenkaku (full-width character)

"jaconv" is now required by Debian package "calibre".

This is Python module package. Debian Python team (including me) will be
maintain the package.
