Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: normal

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for introducing a single additional patch to
our current version of spyder.

The goal is to loosen the restrictions on python-lsp-server so that we
can bring in a new upstream version of it.

Spyder should work normally with the new version of the python-lsp-
server according with my tests. The discussion about it happened at the
python team mailing list, but I'll be happy to provide more information
if needed.
