- an upstream tar ball must not contain subdir debian/ also kill the

- debian/changelog contains all changes /after/ initial upload. Your
  package is not in Debian until now, so it should just list:

nodepass (1.10.0-1) stable; urgency=medium

  * Initial Debian packaging, Closes: #$YOUR_ITP_BUG$ .

Further please run lintian over the dsc and the compiled deb files to 
get further information.
