Please make this a QA upload for now and leave the Vcs in the debian
group. It is not good practise to move the Vcs every so often - that is
why that group exists. A sponsor will likely grant you access when you
got your first upload into the archive. If you really want to adopt the
package, you have to close the ITA bug with the changelog in one of the
next uploads, which should then target unstable. But before that, a
transition has to be started with the Release Team.

Also, this has to be experimental because you are changing the
SOVERSION and consequently the library name.

There is still a lintian-overrides file which only has comments now.
Either you do not ship it or you have to change something else.
