You may want to check and address the issues found by lintian. The spelling error might be a false positive, and the issue regarding "Rules-Requires-Root" can be ignored based on recent discussions. However, the other issues should be resolved. Additionally, I noticed that in the current version on Salsa, you removed the "Built-Using" field from the binary packages, which has led to an additional issue reported by lintian.

Here are some additional remarks:

In debian/rules:
> override_dh_auto_test:

You do not need to override dh_auto_test, even if there are no tests. In fact, there are some tests available (in common/syntheticIP), and dh_auto_test would pick them up if you did not override it.

The package descriptions should be improved. You might find it helpful to take inspiration from the descriptions of the packages produced by src:snowflake.

If I understand the upstream documentation correctly, Tor is required for both the server and the client. It may be worth considering making it a recommended dependency.
