Mentors uses an old version of lintian.  I am not sure which version it is, 
but in some cases it has different tags and in others it has different 
severities or different checks for the same tag.

This is not a unique problem with Mentors.  A lot of Debian infrastructure 
runs lintian from either stable or oldstable, which causes consternation from 
time to time.
