Bug#1104555: Subject: RFS: zmap/4.3.3-2 [ITA] -- network scanner for researchers

I haven’t heard back from either the listed maintainer or previous uploader. Took a look at the package salvaging process and looks like this will qualify based on:

  • There is no visible activity regarding the package for six monthsOR

Should I just submit a new Bug for Package Salvaging?

Hey Phil,

I emailed the listed maintainer (
Dariusz Dwornikowski) back in December and never received a reply, I just reached out to the previous uploader (Sergio Junior) and will see if they can assist. Otherwise, I’ll proceed with the Package Salvaging process.

Thanks for the pointers!

Sincerely,
Phillip Stephens

Hi Phillip,

As the upstream developer you wish to have the package up to date for users.

There are issues:

1. Have you contacted the listed maintainer?

2. Have you contacted the previous uploader as this is different from the

maintainer?

This package is not orphaned, so restrictions apply. Maybe you can look into the

Package Salvaging process, link below.
