I maintain the debian source package on github. According to DEP-14
at https://dep-team.pages.debian.net/deps/dep14/ the debian source 
package is on the debian/master branch at 
https://github.com/ndilieto/uacme/tree/debian/master

Debian releases are tagged debian/x.y.z-n and that is what 
debian/changelog tracks. You can see a list of tags here 
https://github.com/ndilieto/uacme/tags

If I now merged the changelog as you suggested, I'd end up with it not 
matching the debian tags in the repository, so I am not sure...
