Hi,

I confirm the problem persists and I have no idea how to avoid the test
triggering

checking if "localhost" resolves... no
configure: error: can't figure out gethostbyname_r() since localhost doesn't resolve

since gcc-14.  I've injected the package into Salsa and you can find a
recent build log[1] which also shows this problem even if in
debhelper-compat = 13 the configure file is recreated.

Any idea how to fix this?
