If we review the Debian as a big project, team upload is okay also?The package is not team-maintained (Steve McIntyre is not exactly a team) and only a team-maintained package can be team uploaded. You can merge salsa MRs but have to wait for the maintainer to upload. As it is a LowThresholdNmu package you can NMU the package easily. But still, every change should have a corresponding bug report. I am closing this for now. Please ask Steve if you can become an Uploader.
