did you contact the maintainers prior to this RFS?
(pinging the team to make them aware of this RFS.)
The current state of sid/experimental does not say xibowen is an
existing maintainer, so this is technically an NMU, and the changes
are likely out of scope for an NMU -- see dev-ref)
This should be clarified if the current maintainers are aware of this
NMU before this RFS goes forward.
