This is wrong.  You added an empty line, but that's not what I
requested.  Anyway, I fixed the file for you.  Please take a look to see
what I meant.

I don't understand this part.  My original reply included you in the
Cc.

If you have a git repository containing all the history, then why not
put it under the debian namespace and use the proper Vcs-* fields on
debian/control?

Anyway, I uploaded the package as-is, with the empty-line problem fixed.
