Interested in status of libgrokj2k package

Dear Mentors.

I submitted the libgrokj2k package over 6 months ago, and I am not clear on its current status.

It has been accepted into the NEW repo, and has been released to UNSTABLE.

Are there any other steps needed before it is fully upstream ?

I have had questions from one user about when this package will be available.
