Bug#977386: RFS: isync/1.3.0-2.1 [NMU] -- IMAP and MailDir mailbox synchronizer

Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-Cc: Theodore Y. Ts'o <tytso@mit.edu>,
 Nicolas Boullis <nboullis@debian.org>

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "isync":

 * Package name    : isync
   Version         : 1.3.0-2.1
   Upstream Author : [fill in name and email of upstream]
 * URL             : http://isync.sourceforge.net/
 * License         : GPL-2+
 * Vcs             : https://salsa.debian.org/debian/isync
   Section         : mail

It builds those binary packages:

  isync - IMAP and MailDir mailbox synchronizer

To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL:

  https://mentors.debian.net/package/isync/

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

  dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/i/isync/isync_1.3.0-2.1.dsc

Changes since the last upload:

 isync (1.3.0-2.1) unstable; urgency=medium
 .
   * Non-maintainer upload.
   * d/watch: Use https protocol (from Ondřej Nový <onovy@debian.org>)
   * d/watch: upgrade from v3 to v4
   * Wrap and sort debian/* files
   * Upgrade from dh compat 11 to compat 13
     (fixes package-uses-old-debhelper-compat-version and
     uses-debhelper-compat-file lintian warnings)
   * Update standards version from 4.2.1 to 4.5.1
     (no changes needed)
   * Add "Rules-Requires-Root: no" to d/control
     (fixes silent-on-rules-requiring-root lintian warning)
   * Add hardening options
     (fixes hardening-no-bindnow lintian warning)
   * Introduce d/upstream/metadata
   * Fix grock warnings with fix-grock-errors.patch
   * Introduce d/gbp.conf for gbp

The package still has warnings after this NMU, but way less than before.
I intent to first upload this NMU to fix the quality of the packaging,
and then eventually salvage the package to propose a new upstream
version (this cannot be done via NMU).

Regards,
