Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: normal

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "fonts-cascadia-code":

 * Package name    : fonts-cascadia-code
   Version         : 2009.14-1
   Upstream Author : Aaron Bell <aaron@sajatypeworks.com> http://sajatypeworks.com
 * URL             : https://github.com/microsoft/cascadia-code
 * License         : SIL-OFL-1.1, Expat
 * Vcs             : https://salsa.debian.org/fonts-team/fonts-cascadia-code
   Section         : fonts

It builds those binary packages:

  fonts-cascadia-code - monospaced font designed to enhance appearance of Windows Terminal

To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL:

  https://mentors.debian.net/package/fonts-cascadia-code/

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

  dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/f/fonts-cascadia-code/fonts-cascadia-code_2009.14-1.dsc

Changes since the last upload:

 fonts-cascadia-code (2009.14-1) unstable; urgency=medium
 .
   * New upstream version.
   * d/clean: added to clean up generated pyc files.
   * Bump debhelper version to 13.

Regards,

I'd document that in a bug in fonts-cascadia-code
(you can file a new-upstream-available bug for this; that bug will serve as
documentatin that you are aware of the issue and good for documenting what
needs to be done.)

And, yes, file preferable an ITP, but at least a RFP bug and block the
new-upstream-available bug with that one.

A RFS bug is unsuitable to document this issue, as it will eventually time out
and auto closed. It is for sure not where I expected to find the information,
and folks are sometimes browsing open RFS bugs to see if they are actionable.
This effort could be spared, if this bug is closed.

(I'll gonna do that with that mail; it can be easily reopened anyway.)
