Bug#965244: RFS: collectd/5.11.0-4 [RC NMU] -- statistics collection and monitoring daemon

Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-CC: team+collectd@tracker.debian.org

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for a NMU of the collectd package to save it from
autoremoval tomorrow. I have filed an MR on salsa [1] that addresses these issues.
I also emailed <team+collectd@tracker.debian.org> at the beginning of the week
offering my assistance. I have furthermore BCC-ed all uploaders listed on the
package on this bug report. I'm not sure of the etiquette of any of this, and I
apologize for almost certainly doing the wrong thing.

It's currently scheduled for autoremoval because of several FTBFS issues
I think this is a really fantastic package, and I would hate to see it removed.

You can consider this an offer of support for the packaging effort of collectd
going forward as well, if anyone so desires.

The RFS template (and more) follows:

 * Package name    : collectd
   Version         : 5.11.0-4
   Upstream Author : Florian Forster <octo@verplant.org> et al
 * URL             : collectd.org
 * License         : GPL-2
 * Vcs             : https://salsa.debian.org/debian/pkg-collectd
                     (this upload is MR 5, plus a changelog entry)
   Section         : utils

It builds these binary packages:

  collectd

To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL:

  https://mentors.debian.net/package/collectd

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

  dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/c/collectd/collectd_5.11.0-4.dsc

Changes since the last upload:

  * Fix FTBS: disable gRPC
  * Fix FTBFS: disable gmond (ganglia)
  * Fix FTBS: MHD_start_daemon strict type (Closes: #964593)

Please note: this is the second upload with this exact version (5.11.0-4) to mentors.
The first one did not close #964593 in the changelog, but should otherwise be identical.
The mentors page often has trouble identifying a new version, but does appear to be
showing up correctly now. Please be wary of this when downloading the package.

Best,
Antonio Russo
