Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: normal
Dear mentors,
I am looking for a sponsor for my package "runit"
* Package name : runit
Version : 2.1.2-36
Upstream Author : Gerrit Pape <pape@smarden.org>
* URL : http://smarden.org/runit/
* License : BSD-3-clause
* Vcs : https://salsa.debian.org/debian/runit
Section : admin
It builds those binary packages:
runit - system-wide service supervision
runit-systemd - system-wide service supervision (systemd integration)
runit-sysv - system-wide service supervision (sysv integration)
getty-run - runscripts to supervise getty processes
runit-init - system-wide service supervision (as init system)
To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL:

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:
dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/r/runit/runit_2.1.2-36.dsc
Changes since the last upload:
* Use dot-symlink to mark a service as disabled (Closes: #942320)

* Add finish-default (Closes: #943397)
* Update invoke-run manpage for finish-default
* Bump Standards Version to 4.5.0:
- Create '_runit-log' user
* New maintainer
* Add a lintian override for runit
NOTE:
* the package is not officially listed as orphaned but the maintainer resigned after the GR, see
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/pipermail/debian-init-diversity/2019-December/002888.html
* updated salsa git repo
https://salsa.debian.org/Lorenzo.ru.g-guest/runit/-/tree/2.1.2-36-release
* should be uploaded toghether with dh-runit 2.8.15
Regards,
