I also am neither employed by Debian nor by Canonical. My job does not
involve anything at all related to Debian or Ubuntu or Linux or open
source software. I have never received a salary to do Debian or Ubuntu
packaging.

I did not start with my "it's frustrating" email. I sent you patches
to https://bugs.debian.org/904168 over a year ago. I sent you a
followup via that bug. I pinged you on IRC.

I also have made several offers to sponsor your uploads which should
save you time and effort, but you ignore me there too. I feel like I
am left with no other reasonable alternative than to try to reach out
to your sponsors to get acknowledgment of my patches.

The Debian GNOME team would be happy to take over maintainership of
simple-scan if it is too much of a burden to accept patches and answer
emails. We have volunteered multiple times and the offer is still
open.

There are a total of 8 commits in my branch; it looks like you didn't
see the 3 oldest commits.

Thanks,
Jeremy Bicha
