My perl is a bit rusty, but I'll try to have a look at it then. I hope
you can bare with us for a little longer.

Unfortunately I don't think so, at least not until August.
I did take a look, and it looked reasonable to me. I have not taken a look at the latest iteration though. I was tempted to do a merge and release (early and often, right?) but I'm going to be particularly unavailable for about a month so I wouldn't be able to do any necessary followups in a timely manner.
