Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: normal

Dear mentors,

  I am looking for a sponsor for my package "gnucobol"

 * Package name    : gnucobol
   Version         : 2.2-5
   Upstream Author : Simon Sobisch, Ron Norman, Edward Hart, Sergey Kashyrin, Dave Pitts and Brian Tiffin
* URL :https://www.gnu.org/software/gnucobol/ <https://www.gnu.org/software/gnucobol/>
 * License         : mostly GPL3 and LGPL2
   Section         : devel

It builds those binary packages:

 gnucobol   - COBOL compiler
 libcob4    - COBOL compiler - runtime library
 libcob4-dev - COBOL compiler - development files
 open-cobol - transitional dummy package for gnucobol

  To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL:

https://mentors.debian.net/package/gnucobol <https://mentors.debian.net/package/gnucobol>

  Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

    dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/g/gnucobol/gnucobol_2.2-5.dsc

  Changes since the last upload:

  * debian/rules
    - removed useless override_dh_auto_configure
    - now build with -g, debug symbols packages available
  * debian/control
    - debhelper 11
    - standards-version 4.1.4
    - libcob4: set Multi-Arch: same
    - libcob4-dev: set Multi-Arch: same
    - open-cobol: set Architecture: all
    - priority extra replaced by priority optional
  * added manpage for cob-config
  * debian/compat moved to 11
  * debian/watch signature check
  * debian/upstream/signing-key.asc added
  * Added help2man.diff to prevent build failures (upstream backport)

  Regards,
   Ludwin Janvier

Version 2.2-4 has never been in the archive, and 2.2-3 is even missing from
the changelog altogether. Is there a reason for this? While version number
don't strictly need to be consecutive, it's an oddity that deserves a
remark. I did upload anyway as-is this time, though.

The .orig.asc was missing from mentors, I grabbed it via the watch file.
