Well, lintian is a tool rather than a god to appease, especially for tags
that are even off by default.

I don't like reporting a wrong version number: it confuses QA tools (making
them think a new version is available), and makes uscan -d name the tarball
wrong.

Options would include having a dversionmangle that takes the last two digits
and produces 7.23 or 19.96 -- not sure how useful that would be.  Or,
dropping the watch file altogether.

But, this is your package, and I'm not going to impose a strict observance
of my preferences here.  Uploaded -- can always do further improvements in
-20.
