I got the impression Python 2 is not supposed to be included in Buster;
everyone will need to migrate after Stretch is released.

I'm not a snake-lover so I'm not certain, but if that's the case, this
package would be kind of pointless.

I wouldn't package it if it weren't about maintaining another already existing package, python-pathlib2. And since python-pathlib2 is one of the many deps of sagemath -- a big project which still hasn't migrated properly to Python 3, I want to keep python-pathlib2 alive.
